Questions coaches ask first.
Do I need certification to apply?+
Not necessarily — we accept coaches with verified experience, certifications, or both. What we care about is that you can deliver a great lesson. We review each application individually.
What if I already coach at a club or another platform?+
Totally fine — many of our coaches work multiple channels. You control your availability per day so there's no conflict. We're additive, not exclusive.
When do I get paid?+
Payouts run weekly via Stripe. Money for a lesson is released 24 hours after the session ends, and Stripe transfers to your bank every Friday.
Can I pause my listing if I go on vacation?+
Yes. In your hub you can pause new bookings while keeping existing ones, or fully pause your profile. One click, on or off.
How do you handle no-shows and cancellations?+
Athletes pay upfront. Our cancellation policy gives full refunds 24h+ before the lesson, 50% within 12-24h, and no refund within 12h. You get paid for late cancellations — protected from bad-faith no-shows.
What about insurance and liability?+
You operate as an independent contractor — meaning your existing personal coaching insurance applies. We recommend USPTA or USTA membership for tennis, or sport-specific equivalents.
